Tracheotomy; It is the process of making a hole in the neck below the larynx into the trachea (main airway) in cases such as sudden upper airway obstruction or respiratory failure in patients with serious systemic diseases. It is usually closed after the primary cause is eliminated. The permanent one is called tracheostomy.
